Escape From Hero's Journey

“They’re not acting right! They’re not allowed to actually hurt me! It’s not fair! I’m going home.”

The Wizard Polendinus has created a power fantasy adventure for other Wizards in his realm called Hero’s Journey. This experience is entirely staffed by living people who’ve been reduced to ‘dummies’ by Polendinus’ magic. Outside of normal time and unable to die with any lasting effect, the ‘dummies’ are trapped here forever for the entertainment of scrawny Wizards playing at being heroes. 

Until they break free.

Escape From Hero’s Journey is an adventure module for the Pitcrawler 2-player roleplaying game with themes of depersonalisation, alienation, mind control, and elements of body horror. This adventure would be best suited for a character with a few quests completed and played by a duo who want to experience a game dealing with the themes listed above.
